Landscape Design and Installation (Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist)

The design process always begins by meeting you at your property to discuss your needs and to analyze the site.
We feel as designers and as trained horticulturalists it is important to listen to your thoughts and needs before recommending our ideas. This way we can work together to create an area which you will enjoy for many years.

Site Preparation

Soil conditions and site grade are important factors to consider before any plant material is installed. With the correct soil conditions and the proper grade plant material will thrive and establish much faster than if they were in poor soils. This will provide more instant aesthetic values as well as strong, healthy plants which leaves them less prone to disease and pest problems.

Site preparation includes: Soil amendments, grading and drainage system installations.

Plant Material

All trees and shrubs are hand selected from quality, respected nurseries. The majority of our plant material is field dug to order for each project. This ensures top quality and healthy plant material.
We take pride in locating specimen and rare sized plant material.

Installation

A trained and experienced Horticulturalist is present on every project. As we are a 'hands on' company, usually the designer will be on the project from start to finish. All plant material is handled with the utmost care from the nursery to the planting site and all plants are installed to the highest specifications.

Maintenance

We recommend that we maintain gardens which we install so that they become what we originally envisioned.
Maintenance includes monitoring of properties, weed control, defining bed edges, fertilization, pruning and mulching.
