Cotswold Gardens Inc. is owned and operated by James and Lori Hollis and located in West Grove, PA. The Cotswolds, located in the heart of England, is known for it’s outstanding natural beauty and is the home of many spectacular National Trust and Private Estate Gardens. James’ design style has been influenced by the Cotswold style. Cotswold Gardens Inc. provides a high level of Horticultural and Arboricultural services to clients in the Greater Wilmington, Philadelphia and Chester County areas.

We are a unique company specializing in designing & installing residential landscapes, as well as managing large residential projects. We have structured our business to stay relatively small because we strongly feel this is the only way to consistently provide our quality and detail of work. We also feel that this allows us to build long term relationships with our clients.

About Us

Originally from a small Cotswold village, James has been involved in Horticulture from an early age. This passion led him to college in York, England where he received his National Diploma in Horticulture & Arboriculture. It is a requirement for this course to have a years work experience, thus James' arrival to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. After receiving his Diploma, he was employed by a respected tree surgery firm in England until he moved to Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Lori is originally from Pennsylvania and received her degree in Horticulture from Pennsylvania College of Technology. She then went on to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square to complete internships in Horticulture and Arboriculture. Afterwards, she worked for a respected tree care firm in the Philadelphia area and then returned to Longwood Gardens. All the while, Lori has designed, installed and maintained residential gardens in the Philadelphia and Wilmington areas. She is a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturalist and a Certified Arborist.
